Gabby Douglas' Gymnastics Coach Liang Chow: Maker of Olympic Champions

Here's another great video from the YouTube channel, Team USA. They describe Chow as:

"I want my athletes to gain life-learning skills from gymnastics - for real life," says Gymnastics Coach Liang Chow. And Chow should know. A former national champion gymnast and celebrity in his native China, Chow took a chance when he came to the U.S. in 1990 with wife Liwen Zhuang, accepting a gymnastics coaching position at the University of Iowa in exchange for learning English. He and Liwen eventually opened then their own gym in West Des Moines, Iowa, and began a legacy of coaching gymnastics superstars. Starting with his serendipitous meeting of a 6-year-old Shawn Johnson in 1998 who also happened to live in West Des Moines, to his current status as the personal coach of top-seeded Olympian Gabrielle Douglas, Chow is a maker of champions and a superstar in his own rite."

With his recent success story mentoring/coaching Olympic star, Gabby Douglas, things can only become brighter in the future. Take a look at this clip:
